Acoutech provided sound reinforcement for Roberto Carlos the internationally reknown Grammy award winning Brazilian singer. Roberto Carlos continues to enjoy a long successful career. In 1994 he became the first Latin American artist to sell more albums than the Beatles by exceeding sales of more than 70 million copies of his albums. Carlos is in Miami back in the United States after more than 8 years to record a live concert DVD for Sony/BMG at the new Carnival Center for the Performing Arts in Downtown Miami. Acoutech was chosen for this project due to their successful broadcast experience.
August 17, 2006 - Coral Gables, Florida
Acoutech provided the sound reinforcement system for MTV's production of Ricky Martin's Unplugged. This was released on DVD by Sony/BMG and has become highly successful. The show was recorded at the University of Miami Convocational Center. MTV has previously contracted Acoutech for other productions such as the MTV Video Music Awards and Latin Video Music Awards.
September 21st, 2005 - Coral Gables, Florida
Acoutech provided the sound reinforcement and technical personnel for "Premios Juventud" (Youth Awards) an awards show being produced and broadcast live by Univision. Univision is among the top two Spanish language international broadcast networks.
August 29th, 2005 - Miami Beach, Florida
Acoutech was contracted by MTV to provide the audio and technical personnel for the Mariah Carey and "The Killers" remote performances for the MTV Video Music Awards 2005. Also provided was additional audio equipment for the main show in support of Firehouse Productions
